Soul & Smoke Foundation is a Chicago-based nonprofit dedicated to building stronger, healthier communities through food access, dignity, and care. Founded in 1990 by culinary educator and cookbook author Richard Grausman, and in partnership with board co-chair Chef Marcus Samuelsson, Culinary Careers Program (C•CAP) is a national workforce development non-profit dedicated to training and supporting the next generation of food & hospitality leaders. We serve communities across Arizona, Baltimore, Chicago, Houston, Los Angeles, Miami, New York City, Long Island, Philadelphia, Washington D.C. and Maryland. Our unparalleled network of industry contacts includes renowned chefs, hospitality leaders, restaurants, and hotels.

Chicago Chefs Cook aims to unite and empower Chicagoland chefs to raise money for humanitarian causes, both local and global, that are on the hearts and minds of the city’s culinary and hospitality communities.

Job Path supports New Yorkers with autism and other developmental dissabilities as they find jobs and succeed in the workplace, contribute to their communities, and live independently. Founded in 1978, we use the DOL-endorsed Customized Employment method, which matches employers and their unmet needs to job seekers with those skills.

Allie’s Place

Allie’s Place Center for Culinary Education & Employment is a free employment training center designed to prepare adult students for employment in a variety of food industry settings, including commercial and institutional kitchens, restaurants, cafes, and cafeterias. The Center enrolls students who are experiencing homelessness as well as residents from the surrounding community.
