Carissa Remitz brings more than 20 years of experience in hospitality public relations and marketing to her role leading Together Hospitality Chicago. She co-founded the community in March 2022, launching its first in-person gathering that spring, and has since grown it into an ongoing platform for connection, conversation, and collaboration across the industry.
She currently serves as Director of PR & Marketing at Midwest Foods, a women- and family-owned regional produce distributor based in Chicago, where she leads brand strategy, communications, and industry engagement.
Prior to Midwest Foods, Carissa built her career across leading hospitality PR agencies, including Wagstaff Worldwide, where she ran the Chicago office for nearly nine years as Managing Director and Vice President. Her work spans restaurants, hotels, and food and beverage brands, with a focus on building meaningful, lasting visibility.
She is also Co-Founder of AMPLIFY02, a boutique PR and marketing agency specializing in K-pop and global music campaigns in North America.
